Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer – Agilysis POS in Memphis, TN, for our Client which is an American global hospitality company that manages and franchises a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts. Please find below the detailed job description for your further reference.

Position: QA Engineer - Agilysis POS

Location: Memphis, TN

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6+ Months (extendable)

Job Description:

• Agilysis POS interface to Access97 run time product (DA-5) used for POS balancing.

• Work with Agilysis to recreate the existing extract data currently obtained from Micros 9700 Revel pos documentation, manualss.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Objective is to not change any code within the DA-5 application itself.

• Person will be required to regression test the interface and perform end to end testing.

• Person will be required to work with Client PMS team and Agilysys on setting up the POS/PMS interface.

Job Requirements/ Skills:

• POS database experience.

• Specifically, Oracle/Micros 9700 or Simphony

• Technical background to understand creation of files, bat files, scripts

• Understanding of Access databases (or some SQL databases)

• Understanding of access VB code or similar/related experience.

• Potential need to investigate VB code to understand import process.

• Understanding of POS to PMS interface.

• Ability to create and manage to a project plan.

• Ability to work with vendor and internal Client’s team members where needed.

• Person should be self-motivated and able to communicate effectively.

• Raise issues/concerns to management as needed as soon as possible.
